I have actually just watched the video and may have found a link to the meaning of the song at the start of the video, he is willing to risk his life to save her, highlighting the strong love he feels for her and then we see them split half way through the video perhaps highlighting a break up this is when the trouble starts we see problems coming at him from every angle, with police cars appearing from every where and he then has to swerve in the car to try and get back on track and avoid them, these represent the problems he is facing after the relationship showing how hard it is for.

My ex-gf left me when she did not really been honest about herself. I had spent my whole money on her and there she went lying to my face. So I just decided to let her go and bring all our memories with her. Maybe he has given and done everything for her so they could have the best in life.
She still wasn't satisfied and was thinking she could find better. They could have done some things that were illegal to try and get the "finer things in life" mainly for her and some of those things may have now got the law watching them and he is gonna take all the blame and let her go live her new fairytale.
